Pufonel Dec 9, 2016 @ 5:47am. Both of them are good: - Sniper Elite 2 is the game that uses weapons from the old era ( WW2 ) - Ghost Warrior is the game that focuses on modern weapons (sniper weapons and such). Personally i played them both and had a real good time, they are equal imho :)

While using an open world is par for the course with most FPS games these days, Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 is not the best implementation of the concept. The world is really empty with hardly any traffic and little to do. Though travelling to your mission start does add a bit of immersion, and some of the points of interests actually are interesting. Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 isn’t bereft of good ideas or mechanics, it’s just that they’re all trapped in a short series of levels that rarely give you anything all that interesting to do with The 1.4 patch for SGW3 appears to have improved NPC spawning in some locations, but it doesn't solve a fundamental problem, and that is DESPAWNING. NPCs appearing when you approach an outpost is tolerable. NPCs arbitrarily disappearing when you circle the outpost for a better approach violates the integrity and immersion of an FPS game. Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 gave the series a bad wrap, but contracts 1 did very well, and contracts 2 even more so. It's a shorter game, probably like 8-10 hours but the replayability comes from going after challenges and trying to do missions a different way. AYrz.
