This would be the ultimate edition, where as DA2 I'd have to get the DLC if they're worth buying. I've heard time and time again that Dragon Age 2 is either terrible, or that it's good but doesn't live up to it's predecessor due to limited locations, re-used dungeons and so on. Origins, on the other hand, is considered one of the best games Short Answer: Absolutely. Longer Answer: I bought DAO in March 2023 after I completely slept on everything Dragon Age. Immediately fell in love with the game and I think, it aged wonderfully. The rich lore, the characters, the story, even the gameplay culminate in one of the best games I ever played. Crashes were easily fixed with the LAA patch
Can you even still buy Dragon Age Origins WITHOUT the DLC? It's the Ultimate Edition everywhere I've seen it and that includes everything. It costs like 4,75 bucks on GOG right now. And yeah, obviously. Awakening is awesome, despite them never patching it and it shows (a little bit). Dragon Age II story DLCs are among the best content for this
Those are the three items that are available only in the CE/Deluxe Edition (not available in the Ultimate Edition). The items are also included now in the DAO DLC Bundle. The Grimoire should appear in his inventory right at the start of the game, the other two items are sold by Bodahn, later in the game.
