Answered by Honest John. 17-inch wheels have deeper profile tyres for the same rolling circumference than 18-inch wheels so, in theory, should cushion the ride a bit better. Michelin does Cross Climate tyres in the correct 215/55 R17 size (same as my HRV) and they will improve the ride still further. Tags: ride comfort wheels and tyres.

Released in June 2009, the Skoda 3T Series I (3T.I) Superb was initially offered as a five-door liftback with wagons following in May 2011. Manufactured in Kvasiny, Czech Republic, the 3T Superb was initially available in 118TSI, 125TDI and 191FSI variants, with 103TDI variants following in August 2011. All engines, however, were mated to Reliability Survey, the Skoda Superb appeared in the executive car class. In petrol form, it achieved ninth place out of 24 cars, while its diesel counterpart ranked 19th. Skoda as a brand came 16th out of 32 manufacturers featured.
Overall, i have been driving this car for almost a month, the amount of space for passengers are almost similar as 7 series and yet the boot is biggest in its class. Given its features, power and reliability, this car is definitely underrated and i dare to say that Skoda Superb is the best in its class and definitely value for money.
The Superb is generally very sturdy, but you need to be a bit more cautious with the 1.8 T model, particularly on early cars. It can suffer ignition coil failure, which may cause it to misfire and
