Posts: 353 Likes: 0 Is Cesky Krumlov worth visiting? The town is amazing and absolutely should not be missed on a trip to the Czech Republic. Located in Bohemia, Cesky Krumlov is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. But Cesky Krumlov is worth the visit, even if it requires going out of your way. Cesky Krumlov is one of our favorite small cities in Europe. This Synagogue may not be as beautiful or significant as those in Budapest and Prague but it is sadder place than them. There at least you can see the graves and names of those killed in holocaust, here you can see nothing but a deep void. Jews had been a part of the Cesky Krumlov life since the 14th century.
For the small town visit, like you might have been trying to achieve with Cesky Krumlov a day trip to Szentendre will get you out of town and is worth the time and the wonderful boat trip back into town. If you had more time I would suggest a trip to Kempinski in Štrbské Pleso, Slovakia and a few days in the country visiting castles and nature.
